Spa~

I go to a really beautiful relaxing place to get all the things done necessary to keep myself looking good (must be said with a southern drawl for effect)

When I arrive I am escorted to a room in the back where they have candles lit, soft music playing, a water fall wall and someone offering hot tea, wine or water.

It is a haven.  On particularly stressful days I find myself showing up early for my scheduled time to just sit and read in this room.  After a few times of doing this I decided to set up my own relaxation room. I brought in a comfy chair & ottoman, my favorite books.  There are candles and an i-tune doc set up for some nice relaxing music.

So the music is on, candles are lit, I have a book in one hand, and a glass of water, wine or tea in the other.  The mood is set

and spoiled in one fatal swoop~

This is what I have staring at me from the other corning of my 'relaxation' room.

Not very relaxing

The spa looks just wonderful...but I too so don't like the idea of "exercise" while I am trying to relax lol....

Put that ugly thing in the garage! You can use that corner for your waterfall.

I was starting to envision relaxing in that beautiful room then you just cracked me up! You need to find a new room for that terrible machine :-)

I can see your dilemma. Maybe you need to get one of those trifold screens to hide your treadmill. Then you can bliss out!

Ha! That is fantastic! I would feel the exact way same about the little machine in the corner...guilt about my lack of working out is not relaxing!!

That would ruin a relaxing spa moment for me too!

I love your relaxation space. It looks to peaceful...you would have to drag me out of there!!

I need to do something like that in the sitting room off our bedroom but hesitate because our bedroom becomes the spot to congregate on Saturday mornings (one 7 year old, the husband, a dog and 2 cats and lots of cartoons)..and that doesn't spell relaxation to me!!
PS- Move the treadmill!!!
